Darkness Lingers

Darkness lingers all around
And it never makes a sound
I look so hard and try to see
But darkness is surrounding me
I cannot sleep at this late hour
Over me you hold some power
All I can do is write to you
There’s really nothing else to do
Luka, you consume my mind
Usual thoughts I just can’t find
Feel like I’m in a deep abyss
But staring at your face I feel bliss
I really must confide
I feel so confused inside
How can I be attracted to you
When I hear about the things you do
It truly makes me sad
To think you could be so bad
But it still makes my heart race
When I see your beautiful face
What is the point in all of this
Everything feels so amiss
To live my life in fantasy
Just can’t work, it’s plain to see
I see the darkness in your eyes
But I just cannot despise
I can’t help but feel for you
But I’ve got no idea what to do
