The Head
This hasn’t been discussed much but it could be a pivotal element of the case. We know that a ‘tip’ led to the discovery of the head. With no accomplises or witnesses that we know of for certain it is likely that this tip came from Luka himself. But why would Luka give up this information? I venture a guess that it wasn’t for the proper reason of giving closure to Jun Lin’s family. It’s possible that Luka made some sort of deal in exchange for this disclosure. I can’t help but wonder what that deal could be? Certainly it’s not as good a deal as Karla Homolka got with Luka having apparently acted alone…unless of course “Manny” really is involved. Then again if “Manny” is involved then it’s possible that he’s the one who made a deal. It’s all speculation anyway, but just something I’ve been wondering about.
Stop wondering. Honestly, save your involvement for those who matter in your life- your husband, your family.
yes, i have wondered about the whole where did the head come from? was it thrown into the lake at the same time the other body parts were mailed? it’s been known,for body parts to surface after many weeks or months….then again,Luka has pleaded not guilty,so i doubt he was the ‘tipster’that told the police about where the head would be. If he was not the tipster,then who was? and how would they know this information? i feel like more questions are appearing than there ever was before. it is very interesting.

Im really sad for Jun Lin, really really, im also into animal rights, again furs…(not veggies anymore) and i do love my cat so much that i still dont know what could become to me when he’ll pass away but … i still have a big affection on Luka !! Im still liking him as a lost unlucky child!!
As many of us, our friends find we’re just going mads, but i think we’re just really humans, with a lot of humanity inside us !
If Luka has done all that crime (even animal) he must be curse, jail is not the good place for him !!
There are to many dark things in that story .. i don’t thing Luka was alone (which dog was it?? where is he?? who filmed)
I didn’t saw the video for two reasons,
1st it’s scary and i think we’re seeing too much gruesome in all world (war, terrorism …. long list)
2nd respect for Jun Lin and his family
Us, supporters of Luka Magnotta, hate that horrific crime, all of us i’m sure !
we’re just trying to understand things and just feel sorry and sad for another victim (in a certain king of way)
I think that we’re enought that always look on internet stuff bout Luka, and it could be really good if we could find things that could help Luka for his trial !!
My english is not enough good but maybe others could get in touch with the Luka’s Lawyers and give them what we have found !!

OK…. ponder this for a minute. I for one think it is sooo peculiar how videos like Jun Lin being murdered and beyond, end up being fairly easy to find. I don’t have a problem with lack of censorship- and as for the websites that host all these videos are obviously anti censorship… And make an ingenious notion of informing what human beings are actually capable of doing to one another. I have seen so many homicides as a cop… I became “tolerant” to violent scenes. Following the media headlines is virtually the only way to learn about these acts of violence. My advice to anyone with such an emotional connection with this story NEEDS to see the video. THIS IS WHY>>> A news clip reporting the events of something is INANIMATE compared to seeing the act or crime as it occurred. Don’t turn a blind eye to it as a matter of “disrespecting the family”. Im pretty sure they understand that more and more people day after day are viewing the video to face reality of what one human can do to another. I believe everyone is capable of killing no matter how life has played out. I feel crazy to say since only one other person knows about this… I was molested as a boy and that MAN is the only one who knows. Not my mother— rest her soul.. not my beautiful wife or ANYBODY that knows me. Maybe that inspired me to be a cop in the murder capital of the U.S. It sure as hell didn’t inspire me to just TOTALLY DEMOLISH A PRECIOUS LIFE. IM just ranting now…. I hope my comment here flys. I think it is so interesting (NOT WRONG) to see supporters of Luka M. Im so interested in how people tick in general. One more thing… You know how you see families of missing persons often say “they believe there loved one is still alive after years and years? Some call it false hope some call it denial… some people call it FAITH. When a mothers heart is taken from her. All rational goes out the door in most cases. If it eases the pain and you can find the FAINTEST OF FAINT reasons for answering the question “WHY”…. you will take it…. in this case- sympathy from J. Lin’s mother towards LUKA. She is beside herself. I believe in forgiveness through my Lord. But I believe the her sympathy will be short lived.

Yes the head question is something I as well can’ t classify yet. I also thought about it a few hours ago, again. I have read very different theories about it, one saying Luka send an anonymous Canada Day Card to Police in Montreal, while being on the run containing information where the head is hidden. Being not from Canada, I know nothing at all about the Canada Day on 1st of July and if such cards exist and if they are kept somewhere to be only delievered that special day? Like a card for Mother’ s Day would? I remember the police saying at about the 26th of June that Luka was shut as an oyster. The way the police gave their vague hints about the tip, it rather sounded as if it was not given by Luka himself, but by someone else. Could it be that Luka told someone of the hiding place while being on the run? We know that there are people that claimed he has had contact with them at that time. It might not be impossible that he gave an indirect hint. Considering the time it took to find the head in the park (as far as I know a few hours) it is rather unlikely someone gave a precise description where exactly it was, rather a vague hint in which part of the park it was. That would make it rather unlikely the tip was from Luka himself, but I might be wrong. I certainly would wish that he gave it. It’ s for sure that the investigators were very interested to find the head, also for Jun Lin’ s family. So it could be possible they made Luka talk one way or another, maybe by gaining some privilege. Well, talking about Manny would end up in total speculation, so I better don’ t do it. What do you others think about it?
I really don’t think there would be any deal, if the tip was from Luka it was probably because he was talked into it. What I really want to know is what mental health issues Luka is medicated for, it could be the explanation for everything. I’m starting to worry he is actually a sociopath and beyond help and I’ve been drawn in by his sociopath charm…
Honestly, Magnotta does not matter . Hopefully, he will be put away for life.
Why do you keep commenting here, then? If you don’t think he matters, why not just let us who think he does alone? It seems kind of silly to keep coming back to comment if you really don’t care.
Has anyone made a Luka discussion forum or anything? I’ve been thinking of making one, but I want to see if anyone would be interested in it.
Has anyone given a thought to the innocent animals he torchered also. Send a prayer to them whilst you compose your letters of support to him.
I think that it was the girl that he had an online friendship with (don’t want to say her name). She said that he had messaged her throughout his run from the police, including the day he got caught…possibly telling her the location? Maybe the “tip” was part of a deal that she made with the police in agreement that she wouldn’t be charged as an accomplice.
That park is also a popular place for gay cruisers, so it’s possible that it was found by someone and they made an anonymous tip in fear of being outed.
